COACH DAVID' RETURNS TO THE RING

Returning to the ring this Friday, September 9th in Ring of Combat XXXVI in Atlantic City is CSC's own Coach Carlos David Oliveira. David had been preparing for a fight in Richmond on September 20th that was postponed and since he was already training he was able to take on what would have been a short notice fight.

David fought in a Ring of Combat event last year resulting in a knee injury requiring surgery. His rehab has gone well and he is trained up and ready to face his opponent, Tom English from Bellmore Kickboxing Academy out of Glen Cove, NY.

Ring of Combat events are notable for featuring local up-and-coming fighters, who are later signed by larger, nationwide, promotions. ROC alumni include UFC fighters Frank Edgar, Josh Koscheck, Jim Miller, Dan Miller, Edson Barboza and Kurt Pellegrino, as well as Bellator champions Eddie Alvarez and Lyman Good.
